Terrific Traffic By Anshu Baba The Traffic problem in bangalore has irked His Exellency Governor of Karnaka so muh that he openly criticized the administration in a seminar held recently in Bangalore, He pointed out the possible steps to curb this menace,to construct more flyovers,subways,underpasses and grade seperators. It may be recalled tha a initiatve was taken in early 80's to introduce mass rapid transit system in bangalore,but it took nearly two decades to take off the project, The JDS-BJP combined government flagged off the namma metro rail project, which is taking shape steadily,mainly because of the political interfernce. Now one can hope in near future the chaotic problem may be solved, but one wonders with the existng rate of new vehicle registration per day. whether the problem coul really be solved.
